EXPERIENCE
As Executive VP Director of Operations with ISC I bring my knowledge and skills as a law enforcement supervisor. My experience, strengths and training are in the areas of  training, evaluating, counseling, and investigating new recruit officers and experienced training officers.  I have also sat on hiring boards and promotional oral boards for police applicants and for officers seeking selection to specialized units.  I have had State of California mandated sexual harassment and discrimination training for supervisors as well.  As a small business owner of a retail chain and a real estate brokerage, I have experience in hiring and terminating employees.  I am familiar with federal and state laws regarding worker’s compensation, unemployment insurance, social security, and other laws regarding employees’ fair treatment and rights.

San Jose Police Department  / 1981 – 2008 (retired 7/12/08)
Police officer for the 10th  largest city in the United States. Innovator and leader in investigative technologies, information systems, evidence collection, training, enforcement, crime solving, apprehension, and conviction.

Santa Clara County Probation Department  / 1978-1981
Counseling and supervising adults and juveniles who had been through the judicial process and sentenced to probation by a court of law.  Probationers were supervised by home visits, work furloughs, work crews, and other conditions as determined by the court.

Broker/Owner of a real estate franchise specializing in sales and marketing of residential real estate in Santa Clara Count, one of the top real estate markets in the country.  Delegating responsibilities to agents, creating a teamwork environment, overseeing contracts and the completion of important documents in real estate transactions.
